Sweat: Favourite Leg Day Exercises

I didn’t plant to work out this morning but my natural body clock woke me up just before 7 and I didn’t feel like hitting the books so I hit the barbell instead.

My circuit this morning was as follows:

Warm Up:

  • 300 to 500 Skips

Glute Activation (10 reps per side / 3 sets):

Optional: Resistant Band, Ankle Weights

  • Clams
  • Side Leg Lifts
  • Leg Circles (Front and Back)
  • Leg Kicks
  • Donkey Kicks
  • Leg Lifts

Leg Day Lifting:

Equipment: Barbell/Dumbbells/Kettlebell

Set 1 (15,12,10 Reps of each exercise)

  • Front Squat
  • Back Squat

Set 2 (10 Reps per side, x 3)

  • KB/DB Reverse Lunges
  • Single Leg Romanian Deadlift

Set 3 (15,12,10 Reps of each exercise)

  • Hip Thrusters
  • Deadlifts
