Recipe: Green Protein Smoothie

Tested out a new smoothie recipe while on recovery from knee op. I wanted a high protein smoothie to assist with muscle maintenance. It includes a lot of ingredients but definitely essentials for good gut health and recovery.

  • 0.50 cup Frozen Bananas
  • 0.50 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 tbsp Hemp Seeds, ground
  • 0.25 cup Oats
  • 1 cup, Spinach
  • 30 g (2 scoops) Whey Protein
  • 1 tsp Almond Butter
  • 1 tsp Chia Seeds
  • 0.50 tbsp Flax Seeds
  • 50 g Plain Low Fat Yoghurt

Note this Smoothie is definitely a meal replacement for Breakfast as it’s high in calories.Β Feel free to half the above if needed.
